Robert Bonner, DVM

Dr. Robert Bonner graduated from Murfreesboro High School in 1998.  He attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a BS in Poultry Science in 2001.

He earned his DVM from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

He decided to return to his hometown area and practice.  He joined Smith Animal Hospital in 2005, and he bought the practice (Nashville Animal Hospital) in 2019.

He served on the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Licensing Board from 2020-2023.  Dr. Bonner is a member of AVMA, ArVMA, and AABP. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but he has a special love for both large-animal medicine and small-animal surgery. Dr. Bonner is married to his high school sweetheart, Megan, and they have two children, Morgan and Alex.

The Bonners raise registered Simmental and SimAngus cattle on their farm and enjoy going with their kids to livestock shows.  They have six dogs (all sizes from miniature schnauzer to great dane), and a few farm cats. Dr. Bonner looks forward to seeing his clients and helping them with the health of their animals.
